Who does care about FURY ROAD?

Post by Uncle Entity »

It seriously seems that Miller is going to NOT realize this movie. We'll eventually ignore the truth, but something bad surely happened in the pre-production phase. I think in 2005 it would be too late for any kind of approach. Mel is older now. He's getting more old every day. I think they will not make it at all.

So, "what's the problem? " (in the same accent of Max when asked it to Jedediah).

WE got the 3 GREATEST MOVIES OF ALL THE TIMES, with a full closure - a poetic ending. These movies are the best. Max is a legend by now. Maybe this "Fury Road" could have been a mistep, or an useless rehash of the previous three... McCarthy said: "medieval touch in it" - well? Is this genius? There is already a good deal of medieval touch in RW and THUNDERDOME, crossbows anyone?

Leave a PERFECT ("the" Perfect) trilogy alone, in the desert. I'm not tired to talk about it. I never will be tired.

Thanks, Max.

P.s: YESTERDAY RETE 4 AIRED a censored "MAD MAX 1" version, at 11:00 p.m. What a great movie !!!!! (despite it would be pathetically censored). The legend is growing on.

Harrison Ford is at least 10 years older than Mel and a 4th Indiana Jones is coming in 2005. It's been more than 15 years since the last movie and you're saying it's too late. If another year goes by people don't suddenly fall apart. Mel's in pretty good shape, and Miller knows what he's doing.

You're getting worked up over nothing.

Unfortunately, I'm thinking the worst. These days big films aren't released without being subjected to test audience after test audience. My fear is that (and i don't mean to offend anyone) these test audiences will be done in the US and we'll therefore get a movie purely with a US flavour, rather than an Australian bent. You could tell it was beginning in MM3, so I'm hoping we don't end up with a purely 'action' movie. So c'mon Dr Miller, keep the grittiness. Keep the anarchy. I don't want just another action flick. Don't cave into those arsehole movie execs.

I care very much about Fury Road. I understand that the trilogy represented the different phases of a hero's life. Yet there is a fourth phase of the hero returning to his world in a way. Max will never feel right in any establishment, but we may see him a little more tolerable of people in general in Fury Road.

I trust Miller and Gibson, but I just wish we'd get some concrete news about this film. For every step forward, there seems to be a step back. We just learned that there will be a medieval feel to the film and the composer has just been announced, yet we then get news of Miller directing some film called Happy Feet, so the question is when is Fury Road going to be released? Will it be summer 2004 or summer 2005? I'm hoping for next summer.

We don't need another hero...we've got MAD MAX

my impression of Miller is if Miller doesn't think the script or whatever is up to muster then he won't make the movie. which is good. look how long it takes for Cameron to approve/make a Terminator sequel. if the story is sh*te then these kind of guys won't film it. that's fine by me.

but I still think there's going to be another Mad Max. because of the the money they made with the re-release of MM1.

From where actually come these "rumors" about a fourth MM film? sh*t! For one year we talk continuously about this film and now that!

I discovered this informations about Happy Feet by accident, that is an insolence!

It always surprised me that Miller simply never spoke of Fury Road and that,so briefly before shooting !

Please, let me see a pic of the scenery... just a simple pic, somewhere in the Net and I'm pleased!
