Just finished watching THUNDERDOME, cause after reading UNCLE's post on DETAILS i had to double check some things before blabbing.

And funny as sh*t i only just noticed this. Just when SAVANNAH is starting her mutiny to cross 'the nothin' check out the poor little kid to (our) left of her, she spins around to say "we done that, His got word stuff, from his arse to his brain..." she has her spears in her hand and almost smacks the poor little bugger in the face with them. check it out, you gotta put it on now and see for yourself, it had me laughing my arse off.

I wanna rise a point here: I'm pretty sure Max sew in Savannah the daughter he never had. She's rebellious, tenacious and (ALMOST) always "by the side of right". I'm sure Max sew his own "mad" streak in her, and treated her with self-affirmation, rudeness but - ALL IN ALL - an hideous sense of devotion, ammiration.

they're sure as hell buddies when they enter BARTERTOWN, you wonder where all the hostility went. he punches her out and ties her up, then after FINN MCOO's (i think) death in the sand, it changed, they enter the town, sure she's talking sh*t "little? he's the smallest what use is he?" but she helps max with the doors before the chainsaw's tear through it, helps him up when he's knocked out by FLOPPY's spade and SCROOLOOSE's swinging, and she follows him all round the sides of the train.

maybe she just wanted a root?

Max saved her and all the buddies by certain death... but he couldn't do that much for FINN MCCOO, Savannah Nix's child. That's tragic!. Anyway, Savannah understood it. That's because the characters in the MAD MAX TRILOGY are REAL, life-breathing and as much humanly "developed" as me and you. Savannah is a rebellious girl. She always will be that way. After all, Max's plan was dark to most (we viewers too). Max knew it was a suicidal mission, but Master was the only one who got higher brains, able to help them in order to survive by the Wasteland and Bartertown.

And don't forget she was really adversed to Aunty Entity during the big chase. After all, that's Thunderdome real message. If you're innocent, you can beat anything, you can survive, you can elevate yourself from sh*t. The children beat the Guardsmen in funny (but slighty sadistic) ways. Max beat Aunty Entity. Surely, Max is not that innocent but... we know his heart indeed IS.

now, that I read this topic ...

are you sure that Finn MCCoo really was Savannah's son? I remember what was written in the novelisation, but in the movie, he seemed more to be Savannah's pupil or her brother. No?

I love the subtleties of your comments ... and will try to write myself some interesting hypotheses about a eventual direct sequel to BTD or what Fury Road could be, when Miller decides to bring Entity and some ideas of the 3th chapter back. Furthermore, I hope to see a much more agressif movie than BTD was, because these days, we a are more accustomed to movies like this one and the rival productions are not rare.

Entity herself should to dance to that tune, because

Mad Max was/is the absolute reference and must keep this title!

Mmmm... interesting. If I'm not wrong, it was originally the MM3 script to confirm their relationship too. Anyway, the script doesn't count, all in all. We have to take the MOVIES as universal truth, and just don't go beyond them. Novelizations, seminal draft scripts, fan fiction... they are funny toys.

I would love to read them, of course. In my book, in order to film a successful 4th chapter, they have to fuse ROAD WARRIOR with THUNDERDOME - taking out the best from each of the movies.

Yeah, indeed. I totally agree with you! If MAD MAX 4 will be an AGGRESSIVE movie, Thunderdome would become something really special in the saga. Of course, they have to justify this "return to brutality" in a proper manner.

Yeah, a ROOT. oh thats right, not everyone knows the sharp slang of an AUSTRALIAN. Basically SEX, a ROOT is a BONK, a SHAG, BAGGING...

Which reminds me, the REGION 1 MAD MAX DVD, has a TRIVIA TRACK on it, where trivia appears along the bottom of each scene, explaining something to do with the scene your seeing. I don't know who the hell wrote half the sh*t, i mean you can tell all the TRIVIA is directly from PETER, but they also try and de cypher the slang used, and at one point, ROOP is mentioned, and they start going on about what a ROOT is, as if they heard CHARLIE say ROOT, not ROOP... funny sh*t.

Yeah I suspected a thing like that.

Who knows? Many posted me about this issue... some suspected the child we can see in Savannah's arms in HOME final sequences, well, could be Max's son. I really don't think it. Definitely. From that point of view Max is still a burned out man, his soul staying with Jessie forever.

Nah, i was only joking, i personally don't think MAX has any sex drive, its a controversial issue, after all he's a male and all, (and check us out), but i really don't think he cares for such things, but then again it had been about 15 years or something, since he had JESSE's good 'lurvin.

But like most things who knows what he's done between the movies.
