Despite what a lot of people say, I think Tina Turner was pretty good in Thunderdome. She wasn't like the classic "bad guy" who hates everybody and kills everything that moves without reason. She was impressed by Max and I thought it was cool how she let him go at the end. I don't know if I'd like to see her as a supporting role in Fury Road, but a minor character or cameo would be nice.
i doubt they'd make the same mistake twice, THUNDERDOME is notorious for its fault with the kids and tina, ask anyone in the street (down here anyway), and tina and the kids are the reason everybody hated it, surely after all these years that got back to MILLER, i mean its not just the diehard fans its plane old movie watchers, he has to know, so i doubt its true.
if it is i'll f**kin boycott the damn movie... sh*t... no i won't but sounded good.
Rockatansky, as I said before, TINA was wonderful, the movie was a masterpiece, so the news made my day for good. Ask to someone along my street, or an American street, or a Japanese street, or a fukkin' European street... the answer will be the same. Tina was a mind-blowing surprise.
The Italian language sounds anyway "strange" and un-cyphered to your ears sound-wise, no matter what. I can sure you the Italian dubbing was wonderful for ROAD WARRIOR --- they did a great job.
Tina looks younger than a '40 years old woman right now.
