difference between mm1 and 2 blowers

I realise that the blowers were changed between mm and mm2 but would anyone agree that the MM2 blower sits up higher and has a total size which is noticeably higher and bigger than in the MM1 car?

The cases should both be 6-71's and trhus should be the same size. The MM2 version does sit a good bit higher as well as the injector hat and scoop is not an original unit, but rather one cobbled together and rather bland of detail. I like the original setup best. I'm sure Weiand did too for all the free publicity.

you will also notice in Mad Max 1 that the blower pulley was differant in some shots to others, one minute it has a pulley with a guard on it to stop the belt falling off and in another shot you see all the teeth on the pulley,
