Weather has been pretty average for the time of year..... nights around 5 degrees.... days sunny but westerly winds and top temps around 15 degrees ......

Will get 4 day forecast on Wednesday arvo and post it here.....

Thanks heeps hill fm DJ that helps me out a bit is the town looking forward to this weekend or are they put off by it all

I am sort of camping in that I have a swag would be happy to site with someone else but if the night gets too cold then I plan to sleep on the back seat of the car either way you could say I'm ruffing it but I'm coming anyway that's the main thing- wouldn't miss it for the world!

Here is the weather outlook for the weekend...

Fri - Fine cool L-M SW Winds 6-16

Sat - Fine Mild W-SW Winds 5 - 18

Sun - Fine, cool , W Winds 4 - 16

So it looks like a great weekend weather wise for the event...... Only problem is that we havent had decent rain out this way for about 11 months so it is very dry and dusty at the moment. The town seems to take things in its stride, but will get right into the weekend once it gets into full swing ... there is a lot of talk around town .. obviously if Mel Gibson was attending then it would be a bigger event than it already is... I think once the HOT Cars start to cruise around, the atmosphere will be electric.... and everyone will get into the spirit of it ... of course quite a few local people were part of the crew on the movie, particularly taking part building sets, catering, and the like... you will find a lot of local people will come out of the wood work with stories about the time when MAD MAX 2 was being filmed, already a lot of people are pulling out photos they took while the movie was being made here.
