Hi first post from me and have to start by thanking Peter for an awesome site, cheers.Right now to business I have recently got the chance to buy a kz1000 thats in boxes and rather than restore it to new condition (and as a MM fan ) I thought this is a good candidate for a goose replica .What I am looking for is someone that could give me a few tips and sources of parts etc .I have done a few searches and found
http://whouse-jp.com/goose1100.html and
http://www.madmax-jp.com/kwaka/kwaka-top.htm Can anyone help ? And where is the original goose machine ?,in the history of the interceptor it can be seen in the background of the
http://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/interc ... index.html1979 Melbourne Hot Rod Show[/font] .I wish there was some more photos from then of the bike .Thats it for now .

Lucky you!! A kz1000.....what a great project! I think everyone here would give their eye-teeth to know what happened to the original bike.

Neobrit, looks like you have been trying to post some kind of image into your messages - but it's not showing up? I couldn't actually seem to find out what you were trying to link to though. If it's something on your local PC, I can put it online in the storage area, so you can link to it properly.

Hi Brad ,i must admit I`ve just been concentrating on getting the kwak running properly.A lot of the other owners of replicas seem to fabricate their own body parts ,have a look at the link at the top and
http://users.hoops.ne.jp/z1000goose/ , these guys are serious! .Trouble is they are in japanese so not so easy to find out where they source their parts. You can buy some parts from
http://www.whouse-jp.com/goose1100.html but as they are for the zr1100 replica I think that they will not easily fit a kz.

.Happy hunting ,I will let you know if I have any luck.
