Just saw that ebay has five airsoft shotguns for auction right now. It is wednesday morning and they end two days from now so go look if you want one. They are under the DVD's and Movies section in "movie props." If any of you are interested, I am in the process of making a max shotgun replica. Each piece is individually casted from resin. And they're cheap!

Well since the guy that commissioned me is waiting the longest while I make all the molds, I'm only charging him 50-75 dollars. He's having me make a few items so I'll give him a ballpark figure at the end. As I figure it I should have them for under a hundred. The one I have partially done looks great. It's modeled after the shotgun from MM1, not Road Warrior. The one used in the second movie is quite different. I'm making the mold for the main grip right now. I should have one done within the next two days. I am making the white and black washers at the pommel seperate for realism (and so It won't be such a difficult process to complete.) I'll have some pictures soon So email me at Slayers_r_us8428 @ Hotmail.com and I'll send them as soon as I've got them.

Thank You.

I took some pics but they were with a cheesy disposabl camera and they aren't very clear. I still have to do the main grip anyway. As of right now, it looks awesome! Almost like a real shotgun if I do say so myself. I tried getting the foregrip looking like real wood but it still looked like plastic so I used the best of the two and bolted it to the barrels. I also added a resin bead down the center of the barrels like the real thing. I'm still trying to figure out how to do the trigger guard, I don't want to cast it and I don't want weld it. Actually I DO want to weld it but I don't have any steel stock like that of a real trigger guard. If you want to see some out of focus pics of what I've got done write me at mailto:Slayers_r_us8428@ hotmail.com

I just mixed and poured the final small black cap on the pommel of the shotgun. When it is dry I'll drill a hole down the center and put in a screw for authenticity. I've got a scan of the grip if any of you are still interested. I've also got one of the foregrip and barrels but it's not entirely clear. My scanner can't distinguish the black barrels from the black padding on the scanner lid I guess, so it doesn't pick them up. Hopefully when it's done I'll get some good photos and send them along. In the mean time if anybody has questions, comments, wants pictures, or if you have a commission for me, write me at the address I've already given.
