I just went the fastest I have ever been last night. 145....wew, was it a rush. Talk about tunnel vision.

On vacation, I went to Germany and was up to a 135 in a Volkswagon Golf "Bon Jovi" edition. But we got passed by, believe it or not, a red Dodge Viper among other things!

its a toss up between my neighbors 69 Hemi orange Plymouth Road Runner and my freinds 10 sec 74 AMC Gremlin .the Grem i damn near was thrown in the backseat LOL

best ive done is 220 Klm/h which is a bit over 132 mls/h for all the US people
it was done in a Suburu WRX (2ltr DOHC Turbo) and there was at plenty more power and revs left in reserve!!!
im guessing it could probably top 250 if it tried...

The fastest accelarating cars ive ever driven would be a Mitsubishi 3000 GT i drove at work once and a 92 Lotus Excel 2.2 ( no turbo ) which my girlfriend hired out for my b/day for a long weekend, I might also add this is indeed the best handling car ive ever driven.
The Lotus and the Mitsu would have easily pissed on the 200kmh effort but these days there are too many speed cameras about and way too easy to lose ya license and im somewhat paranoid these days.

I think my dad may have had our 91 Cammaro RS 5.0 up to 145. And I know he has had our current car, a 1998 Mustang GT 4.6 up to 135,on the highway.

Well, I went 120 mph on average for about 2 hours. Lets just say that after driving that fast for a while, everything seems very slow. I was in my 99 eclipse. And to say that the 33 miles per gallon went down to about 17. it was on a sunday, Forget about cops!

My buddy had a 5 minute head start in his 455 cid Cutlass 4-4-2. We were heading back to our city from a salvage yard 'round 60 miles away.
When I passed him, the speedometer in my Javelin was about (the equivalent of) 12 miles per hour FASTER than the 120 that the speedo shows.
Passing on a two lane is a little hairy at 132mph (We have EVIL ditches bordering our roads)
