The Citadel's "map"

Post by Uncle Entity »

I re-edited my original thread.

Did anyone here ever try to make a "map" of the Citadel's inner and outer structures? That would be extremely cool.

I got a question about Immortan Joe and the Citadel's inner structure, for instance:

At the beginning of the movie...
When he runs across the plant crops and goes toward the Five Wives' "Strongbox Room" (to check if they are still there), is it me or the armored door is placed on HIS LEFT, and he turns on his left at the end of the run?

This:

I don't get what you mean? He runs across the hydroponic room to the Vault door in most a straight line, he turns slightly left at the end because of the cameras and then comes in straight on with the vault door.

Yeah. He slighty turns to his left anyway.

A map is something I'd love to see. The whole structure is gigantic and we only see a handful of rooms.

In the first tower there is a huge garage for the armada and workshops to service it. All the Cog fodder would sleep somewhere here too.

We aren't sure where the blood bank and steering wheel altar are located but it's likely in the second or third tower away from the cars since Furiosa walks towards the War Rig with the steering wheel. I'm guessing it was lowered down from the third tower but that seems quite far away from the first tower when there is a rush to go to war.

The third tower has the dome where the five wives are kept, the milk banks, hydroponic gardens, Immortan Joe's chambers, the water pumps and system is situated in this tower. Presumably the Imperator's rooms are here too. Judging by the luxury the wives have in their dome the rest of the upper citadel court would live in similar luxury.

On every tower there are farms on the roofs with cranes and various windmills and weather instruments. So every tower would have handling facilities for all the crops.

The whole complex is just enormous.

It's actually pretty fascinating how they laid out the Citadel from the inside.

I have some pics of unused early CGI that shows an elevator inside one of the towers and some kind of a garage. There's a lot going on there.

Can you share those images here? They would be awesome to see. I can see the cable cars in the background so it makes sense they have elevators.
