Why is Mad Max Fury Road so Highly Praised?
In my opinion, this movie doesn't bring anything unique or groundbreaking. It is maybe the quality of 300, though I would say I even enjoyed 300 more.

Yet on Rotten Tomatoes it has a 97, on here it shows up in Top 5 best of's, etc.

Not trying to be controversial but I think it needs to be said that this was an average movie that is one of the most overrated in recent memory.

edit: Downvote because you disagree? Great, you're the reason reddit sucks sometimes. At least give some input.

The only argument it has is "non stop action" but so what? The story is mediocre, the acting is okay and it seems everyone just has a hardon for Tom Hardy.
