The ratrod concept was a sound one
Hulks and pieces from the entire Australian automobile industry from the 30's up to bout the 80's all mismatched and stuck together for ultimate violence looked real good
Cars newer then the 80's just dont look the part
They just dont look as powerful and menacing as when they used to make cars out of metal
But I think they went too far with the monster trucks and stuff
(Among other things he went too far with like all the guns and all the you know what)
Just take that pretty ratrod style and dial it back a smidge more realistic like MM2 was
Basically the cars from MM2 but with more dents and rust and even more mismatched, cobbled together and bizarre
I was only thinking the other day, how in MM2 there is the reference to the "last of the v8 interceptors"
when you think now with Holden and Ford closing down locally made cars, there isn't going to be anymore V8's made.
I could see a reference to that being used in fan fiction, future films,
From what I've seen in the news people are paying over $10,000 above the new sticker price to get "one of the last V8's"
Sweet
And some Volvo's are considered tanks. So, the engine is not really out of place.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
As far as I can see the car is not made drivable. I can't see any engine cooling. So they run it only short times and not more than idle. And during running there is a big plastic cannister hanging at the side of the engine. Probably for the fuel for that anti-Prius fuel consumption.
