I first saw Mad Max, and a slew of other '80 dystopian post-apocalyptic movies, at my uncle's house, where I could watch all the 'R'-rated-and some X-rated-movies I wasn't allowed to watch at home (keep in mind, I wasn't born when the first two Mad Max movies were released).
I saw Mad Max several times and distinctly remember a scene where several dystopian post-apocalyptic police officers are in a bar, and the TV over the bar is tuned to a game-show where losers are forced to get, what I assume to be, the show's logo tattooed on themselves and, apparently, contestants can only complete until they are completely covered with these logo-tattoos. While the movie scene focuses on the officers, it is possible to clearly hear and see what is occurring on the TV. In this case, a young couple, consisting of a man who is completely covered with the logo-tattoos and a woman who only has a small patch of un-tattooed skin on her forehead, had just lost and the host discovers that the woman's forehead had already been tattooed but the couple had covered that tattoo with make-up. The host then reaches into the stands and grabs the couple's un-tattooed infant child and the scene ends while the game-show staff is approaching the screaming child with a tattoo-gun.
I was fairly certain that this scene was from Mad Max, but, when I purchased the DVD that scene wasn't there. However, I there were several versions of this movie, including the Australian theatrical release, the US theatrical release, and the VHS release, so it's entirely possible that this scene was not included in the version released on DVD.
Was it the case that the 'baby-tattoo show' was part of the Mad Max MFP bar-scene that was cut in certain releases, or is this from some-other dystopian post-apocalyptic police movie and, if so, which one???

We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.~Ayn Rand

Definitely some other movie... never heard of that scene in conjunction with Mad Max, I'm afraid.

MM inspired definitely. I've tried to look it up on iMDB with no luck. I also want to see this movie.

Well, i collect and have practically every one of the Italian 80's post Apocalyptic Mad Max rip offs, from WHEELS OF FIRE to THE NEW BARBARIANS and it ain't in any of them and those Italians would think up something that crazy and brutal, so it alludes me.

Perhaps this is another case of The Mandela Effect.
