Updated My Page & a New URL

Post by Wayne Jones »

i have slightly updated my page with a few more sections to my building a replica section. also as most know the usual URL you are given when making a page is bloody long and can be hard to remember. like this is my origional addy.

http://members.xoom.com/falcon_world

and if you have numbers as well then you can get bloody lost. so i have added a forwarding addy which is:

http://drive.to/mfp

a lot easier to remember, all this does is when you type in the address it forwards you to the site. the only downfull is that you have to advertise some how, by a banner on the top or botom of your page ect. i have chosen a box to appear when you enter my site, just click the cross in the corner and it wont bother you again until you reenter my page.

My bro told me about it cause he is making a page for his band and the members wanted a easy url to remember and one they could get made into window stickers and put on their cars as advertisment for them. but if you saw some bloody huge address on a car you wouldnt remember it write, so they are going to use a forwarding address. you can still access you site by its origional addy.

Wayne,Max's yellow 4 door interceptor was an Auto prob a FMX or C6 look at the interior shots on Mad Max it has a T bar auto looks exactly like my friends T bar auto shifter in his 72 Mach 1,and whats a Bord Warner single rail? a T 10?keep in mind that the car sounds were probably dubbed as well as the accents some were ripped off from BULLIT that starred Steve McQueen, and we all know steves 67 Fastback Stang was a Toploader.Kennedy and Miller prob wanted a loud sound for their cars to grab ya when ya watched it plus just imagine the costs in adding sound equipment to the cars to amplify the engine sounds.you can really tell that Max's yellow car was a Auto cuz after he took off right when he was radio'd in to help stop the NiteRider when he took off it was all drawn out no shifting sounds, plus if it was a stick and them TopLoders were a short throw full syncro 4 speed you woulda heard max shiftin quick nuff said oh Wayne wheres my Box holmes????don't tell me yer ma left it in yer trunk :( regs

A while ago, I sent you an edited pic through email of your Mum's XB. I took out the redness, and it looks much better. What's up, you haven't replied or put it up?

yes you are right it is a FMX as the FMX was most comonly used on 351 wheres the 302 had the C4. I cant beleave i totaly stufed that up, i made that page about 2 in the morning so i didnt realize that, i think i was thinking of one of the other cars when i did it. due to doing it so late i hae heaps of mistakes in mostsections i have to fix up. As for the e-mails, i was of the net for a very ong time in this time i got over my limit of space in my account. so my friend andrew set up some sort of filter that was supposed to send my e-mail to my school e-maile where i could answer it. but something scrooed up and oit went to some hotmail assistant section. i have had to send many e-mails to this section and they are now sendding me my mail back, i received your massage with the car a day or two ago, and thanks it looks good. i have not had time to reply. and bart, the filter they have on you e-=mail is still being worked out, when ever you or i send a message to your mail it gets sent to hot mail. i hope they will fix this soon, i think in a few days as they have been fixing one e-mail addy a day and they said i only have 4 messages left.

Yes you box is onits way, i tried to order back issues of street machine of the max vehicles but after riping my hair out i was told that they were unable to locate any issues , and could not print any more.

so it shle be there in about a week, ssorry for the delay.
