Where is the best place to buy an XA, XB or XC Falcon Coupe ? Not necessarily an Interceptor replica but just a stock car i'm after to begin with, to be honest I probably wouldn't want a full replica anyway as i'm not a big fan of the front cone on them.
Looked on Australian Ebay and there's only 1 on there, is there nowhere else ?
Currently have a 70 Mustang Fastback
I'm in the UK so I know shipping etc will be a factor in any purchase
Also is there any links to price guides etc as to what I should be paying for one ?
Thanks

Re: Falcon Purchase
I would recommend going through a car import/shipping agent. There's a reason there's only 1 on ebay, they are rare and old nowadays.

Gudday,
I would recommend checking out:
www. gumtree.com.au
www.carsales.com.au
www.musclecarsales.com.au
www.tradingpost.com.au
For parts check out www.rarespares.com.au or www.falcongt.com.au
To be honest though, they really are hard to find and get parts for. I sold mine a couple of months ago after a frustrating couple of years of ownership. They are prone to rust - especially around the bottom of the back window and the lower sill panels and they are not the easiest to get new panels for unlike Mustangs. Most don't have power steering and due to the weight and size of the car they are really hard to drive. The small back window and tiny side mirrors make rear vision a pain in the ass. Engine wise they are fine as there are plenty of parts available for Cleveland V8's. To give you a good indication of what they are worth, I had a 6 cylinder with a groovy column shift auto that had only 58,000 miles with all the rust repaired and a full professional respray worth around $10,000 which I sold for $33,000. I had phone calls from all over Australia and ended up selling it to Perth (I'm in Wagga Wagga - about 5 hours from Sydney on the other side of Australia!). They look fantastic but I don't think I will EVER paint a car black again.

There's a few Falcons in the UK, but in lieu of Fury Road I'm betting all of them will have inflated prices for a good while to come!

www.aussiexport.com
I can source hardtops. The replica project that just sold on ebay was one of mine. It's going to France.
I've also shipped hardtops to the UK before.
