interceptor tribute bike

Post by scubabiker »

new to the forum, the idea has been floating around in my head for a while now.
i have a 1986 honda VF750F interceptor. its painted yellow.
the general idea is an interceptor themed paint scheme, mfp logos here and there and a few other bits.
the bike is really rough looking so it should fit it quite well

Well as for me I have no motorcycle anymore but I got a Kawasaki Z1000 A1 (1977) with a similar fairing as Johnny, Starbuck Cundalini, Clunk in Mad Max 1. Nice Paint job. Looks cool. 8-)
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

I think that's one of the coolest ideas I've heard in a long time. Those bikes in Japan look great and I'm sure yours would too. If you decide to post pics

little update, got the carbs back on still need to adjust the mixture screws, next step is paint, and a seat cover, im going to get the seat in red and match the paint to it. im hoping to get this done before the new film comes out, but currently bad health is hintering my progress (i have a health condition called ehlers danlos syndrome and it totally sucks). when the weather is a little warmer i will continue progress, i also have a drag car that im trying to get raced, so things are a bit hectic!
