So I saw the F&F6 Superbowl trailer. Everyone seems to be going gaga over it. Its now a "must see" for many moviegoers. I say 'meh'. I just can't get into these movies. The first one was alright, but the rest I just can't get through or can't even bother, practical effects or no. Apparently F&F5 was a big hit that resurrected the series, pushing the action to the limits of physics. Now it seems the new movie goes beyond physics, almost comicbook-like......and folks are apparently dying to see it. It makes me wonder if people will be just as eager to see Fury Road with its (hopefully) grounded-in-realism vehicular mayhem.

I was seriously waiting for Vin Diesel to sink a battleship by launching a car at it. I mean they're already taking down planes and chase tanks, so why not? haha

So over the top. Having said that, it should be a good popcorn flick if you don't take it seriously at all.

I'm glad they moved away from the early "ricer" epics. I love big, loud, stoopid, over the top flicks like Fast 5, so I'll be there for Fast 6 for sure.

I've been very happy with the fact that they brought Dwayne Johnson into the movie since fast 5. It does make a difference, he's a good actor!
