I met Virginia Hey last weekend at a convention type of thing here in England (Birmingham). I have to say, out of all of the famous people I've met, she is by far the nicest and the most normal, she was really great to meet and happy to talk. As I was kind of in awe of meeting Warrior Woman, I pretty much forgot how to talk! She likes my hair so we mostly spoke about that

. She did say that Mad Max was very cheap to make and that she wishes they'd get paid everytime it's on TV as it must be playing somewhere in the World at any given time all year round, which is true, ITV seems to go through patches where it will show it seemingly every other day for weeks at a time!
I was a real pleasure to meet her and I hope I will again some day.
(Unfortunately I'm not very photogenic!)

She told me that if anyone tells me to cut my hair then I should tell them "Virginia Hey says "up your bum!""

I'm actually from Oxfordshire, I just travelled up for the day but I like Birmgham. Did your parents move over to Australia or are they still over here?

She was on the TV here last night complaining about the discrimination beautiful people experience. She is 60 years old.

Congratulations! I met her a few years back at a local convention. Very nice and very friendly. Even though I don't collect autographs, she was quite happy to autograph two of the Road Warrior 'dolls' as she called them.

She is someone I'd like to meet. She seems like a genuine nice person unlike many Hollywood types. The post about the hierarchic on the Fury Road set reminded me of how these people can often be.
