Mel Gibson as "Drifter" in MM4?

I was just browsing Wikipedia a few minutes ago and I noticed under Cast it says "Mel Gibson as Drifter". Then I scrolled down under Production and the last line says "Mel Gibson now has a cameo role as "Drifter".

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else. Although you can't take Wikipedia info as gospel it'll be no surprise if Mel shows up in this movie one way or another.
Also, I think I read something earlier that said Mel's production company is co-producing MM4 as well.

looked at the source material for the comment and it comes from an article published last year. No where in the article does it mention Mel playing a character, and the word "Drifter" is not even used. IMDb does not list Mel or a character "Drifter".
This looks like someone posting bogus info. Ah, the joy of Wikipedia 'reliable' information.
