What are your thoughts on the 'World War Z' trailer?

I enjoy movies like this, but there are a couple of things that don't bode well for WWZ.
1. The CGI of the teeming hoards is quite awful. I really hope that it's because it isn't finished yet.
2. The movie is PG-13. That makes no sense for a zombie movie.
3. Extensive re-shoots and a falling out between Pitt the producer and Forster the director cant help things. Apparently Forster, who directed the weak Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace' and the bomb 'Machine Gun Preacher', may have been in a bit over his head on this.
4. Did I say the CGI looked awful?
So what, am I being too harsh?

I am not a huge fan of zombie flicks. George Romero is the god father of the genre and most everything else is just recycled hash. It's hard to improve on perfection.
Yes, the CGI looks bad. An endless supply of zombies that move super fast with a collective intelligence does not seem very "zombie" like. How could zombies vastly out number the human population unless everyone who has ever died rises from the grave? What makes zombies scary is seeing them as everyday people that have changed (usually from an unknowable cause). A faceless hoard de-humanizes them to a generic level.
PG-13? Really? The genre has just been watered down to the children level. Perhaps they are banking on the star power of Brad Pitt to sell tickets to the largest audience they can reach. A zombie film for the whole family? What's next? Disney doing a "G" rated film with some lovable funny zombie lead character (played by Johnny Depp of course)?
I've always had great respect for Brad as an actor. Usually in films I see his character and loose the actor. His look in this film is all "Brad", the trailer did nothing for exposing who his character is.
From what this trailer shows I see nothing to entice me watch this film. I may even rate it as the biggest career mistake Brad Pitt has ever made. But maybe I'm the one who is being to harsh now.

I showed the trailer to my 14 year old daughter. She said "that looks like a really good movie". I guess it's a perspective thing.

I thought the "Dawn Of The Dead" remake with Ving Rhames was pretty good. But the original "Night Of The Living Dead" is the greatest horror movie ever made. IMO

Re: 'World War Z' trailer
I've read the book, and too say that I'm disapointed that the movie is basicly "Brad pitt saves the world" is an understatement, read the book you'll not be disapointed. BTY it's written by Max brooks.

Re: 'World War Z' trailer
I usually like the zombie genre but lately i've seen some really crappy new releases. And this is going under the same catagory. The cgi is indeed bad. The part when they're all crawling ontop of eachother to get on the wall is plain aweful.
Why didn't they look at 'The Walking Dead'. I think that show has a very realistic view on what a zombie apocalypse would possible look like .
About the trailer, they should have made it shorter and more mysterious. Now you almost saw the complete movie in the trailer. Really hate it when they do that.
