I wasn't just referring to Mel Gibson but all of the characters that were given life by the actors like Roop, Charlie, Goose, Barry, Toecutter, Bubba, Fifi, Johnny, the mechanic, Jessie (ok maybe not so much her but like Toecutter said: awfully pretty face)

You can't say Thunderdome really gave us great characters - what? Ironbar? Master Blaster? Nahhh, they were all pretty bland to me and unrealistic. I didn't care for any of the characters really..

Mel Gibson did a good job but I thought he looked bored in a few scenes (like the scene where he is listening to the kids but I admit that would be a hard scene to do) ;)

Max seemed sad - he was thinking to the Pox-Eclipse and all the death which surrounded it in the past. Mel gave a wonderful play in that specific moment.

And what? THUNDERDOME gave us the best supporting characters ever been. Aunty Entity, Master, Blackfinger, Savannah Nix (!!!!!!!!!!!), Slake, Mr.Skyfish, Scrooloose, Bartertown's people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kids... kids are boring in the MAD MAX films, except ofcourse SPROG and FERAL, its the adults that are the entertainment, THUNDERDOME woulda been cool without the kids, i mean sh*t, it started off as just a story about a lost tribe of kids, then MILLER had the afterthought of throwing max into it all, they wern't even meant to be there,.

I still am EXTREMELY bothered by Max's lack of a leg brace in BTD (I know we already had this debate, Uncle) and his apparent lack of extreme re-injury after taking a bunjee jump off the kids patio with the rope on his bad leg. Call it petty, I think I hate this more than anything else in BTD.(ok, maybe the cow car is tops) I liked the continuity between 1&2, and little details like the guy oiling the brace before max goes for the tanker. The scene doesn't call attention to it, it's just almost happening in the background.
