With an event this public I would expect other pictures to surface also. I can't imagine the press missing this. What a great PR event. It is fabulous to finally see pictures of the real star of the film.

You must look at it differently. Just as Hardy does not look like Gibson, the replacement Interceptor does not look like the original Interceptor. It IS a different actor.

Most likely it only appears to be in this condition. Even cars get special effects makeup to look raggity.
You must realize that we(members of this forum) are the true FANATICS and are among the only people that will know the difference between this car and the original. You can bet when the movie comes out there will be claims that the original car used.

yes i am on the film and have been a long time max fan! unfortunately we have all signed confidentiality agreements so id rather not give up too much stuff.
I was surprised the BoB was out for the public so i thought it would be ok to post them for you guys.
We're all having a blast here and the cast/crew are awesome and namibia is visually incredible . dream job.
The orphans had a great day and got heaps of pressies so that was the main thing for the day.

I can only assume, as someone else mentioned, it is a pre title sequence/dream sequence.

It makes no chronological sense for the BoB to exist unless it is pre road warrior, which is fine, except for the fact that the storyboards we have show Max driving a different vehicle and from the information we have on the plot it seems unlikely Max stays in whatever vehicle he starts with unless they have secure parking in the wasteland lol.

If the storyboards are to be believed that is:

Yes, that's right. We die hard fans see far more details than the other people that only go to the cinema to see the movie and probably not even knowing any background history about the movie.

But I presume that Miller knows that there are still enough people knowing about the old three movies. So he could probably thought about to the details of the things that also appeared in the old movies. But the more rough look of the car could also be caused by the fact that this movie will be more rough. (more to today's standards about how movies look nowadays).

Now I'm really curious what the exact storyline will be and what role the BoB will appear in.

Apologies if this has been posted before -

Its the first time I'd seen an image shot in the midst of rolling action on the film as opposed to being on transit or prepping for a shot (below).

For reference, I'll drop here the links to the pages where these images can be found..

Its a thrown together piece of junk... lol... it is so different to the original one, so many ?mistakes, but as someone said before it will only be us maxoholics that will notice any difference.

I wonder if it belonged to someone who was starting a replica but lost interest etc so they bought it?
