Playing it safe huh? It would help against little kids that have a tendency to grab anything that is shiny. I see parents pull them away from motorcycle exhausts more than once. I imagine zoomies get pretty hot also after a long drive.

Hey are you going to try and register it?
Or leaving it as a trailer car ?
The only issue would be the blower and the width of the rear rims.
The fake zoomies shouldnt be an issue.

In Victoria and most likely all states, it is illegal to have upward pointing exhaust (unless it is well above the roof line - as per truck stacks)
You are fine to have upward pointing fake exhaust in any direction you want, as long as it is within the body line (Don't count the side mirrors as body)
By flaring the rear rims, you can then encompass the zoomies and its compliant.
In this case, the rear flares are only 3mm wider than the rear tyres.

Some crazy automotive laws ya'll have to put up with down there. For all these years I've watched the cool films and cars only to find that most can't be driven legally or not without unnecessary hassle. Makes me appreciate what we consider harsh laws here. My hat is off to you gentlemen for your effort and perserverence.

On the zoomies, you could get one of those new electric cut out dumps and have the rear exiting pipes for street use and switch to the zoomies for shows and events.Do you think that would fly with your nazi rego guys?Cheers,Bill
