Hey gang,

FYI I now have access to an amazing fab shop for fibreglass, carbon fibre, etc.

What I DON"T have is a fairing to copy.

If ANYONE has one in North America that would be willing to work with me in Pittsburgh I may be able to make some progress for us.

If not I may have to digitize the front end of my Z and sculpt one in the computer myself.

(the wonders of 3D printers may never cease to amaze me!)

Anything I sculpt will likely not be perfectly accurate, but I am so anxious at this point that I may have to go that route.

Anyone?

Beuhler?

Hey Bozz,

If you get something started, I'll be happy to help you refine it. I was actually considering fabbing some from scratch myself but I'm afraid I could never get an acceptable start going because I'm too critical... My forte' is perfecting patterns and designs but not really making originals myself. Anywho, let me know what you want to do.

If anyone has any really solid info on where the moulds are now, or if anyone has the truly accurate fairing, I know that http://www.madmaxcars.com is about to begin the task of building the farings, and seat extension, in full production. Feel free to let me know.
