Unfortunately I will not be able to make the trip. It seems that flying to the other side of the planet is too pricey for me at this time. I'm really bummed out about it. I already chatted with Brad about it. Oh well, I've been waiting almost 30 years to make the pilgrimage, one or two more won't matter. I'm still planning on attending Wasteland Weekend this year so maybe I'll see some of you fellows there. In the mean time, everyone have fun and be sure to post a lot of pics. 8-)

"The Teutonic reputation for brutality is well founded. Their operas last for 3 or 4 days and they have no word for 'fluffy'."

Yeah.
Heard there is about 10 bikes going (at this stage). (3 of those may be trailered there).

I'll post pics when I feel up to it. At this stage I'm in a fetal position on the floor.
I'm trying to have the car rebuilt in time for the run next month.
Bummer!
All the best with getting her on the road.

Sorry to hear you can't make it.
Sounds like there will be plenty of fun and pics to post.

I was having kittens waiting for the cyclone to pass while the Interceptor was in the shed, thankfully we missed the real destructive winds.

OK guys, finally taken a break from the rebuilding to get back on the boards. If the part arrive tomorrow, the car might be ready to go on Saturday. Cutting it close I know, but it was a total engine bay rebuild (and now Midas are jacking up at the price, so I've got to sue their punk ass ).

What is the status of this run now?
How many confirmed are going?
Meet up locations along the way?

If people want to PM me their phone numbers, I'll call to make final details.

Darlington Point may suit you? ...
It's looking good as a meeting point around midday on Sunday 13th March for one BoB and a couple of motorbikes at this stage.

See you in Mildura buddy!

Cheers,

Dale Bensch

Where in Darlington point? And at what time?

So, what happened/is happening?
I am so bummed about missing this. Darn new job. However, I am now seeing enough cashflow to consider building some kind of old car. Maybe not a BoB though. Any Aussie muscle is good muscle.

Anyone want to plan a pilgrimige in Autumn this year? I am long overdue...

Everyone is up there at the moment having a blast at the 'halls of justice'. They'll post some pics when they get back.

I wasn't able to make it, as the car kept jumping out of gear and shop dented the front guard (I made to about 30k out of Sydney before deciding that there was no way I was going to make it). So it's gone back to them to get fixed.

Maybe one day I'll get my car back again....

Autumn sounds good for a run down to Little river....if anyone is interested?

Hi there,
Does anyone know if Nik made it to Broken Hill on the Futurebike?

Last we heard he was waiting for his bike to be released from quarantine in Sydney ....

My understanding was the bike was released and he was picking it up last Monday from Wollongong and heading off from there.
