Which one was that again ?
In MM1, when Jessie drives of after the balls of the Toecutter had a close encounter with her knee, you can see the BoB parked next to a house.

Yes. When you see Jessie drive off, in one shot, on the right side of the screen, you can clearly see the BoB parked next to a house. You look at the rear side of the BoB. It's there in plane sight.

It was discussed years ago on this forum, that is how I know about it.
So, according to what is actually on film, we've established that there is more than one car in the BoB bodystyle, engine aside since we can't see it. That opens the door to there being more of them in the MM world in potentially varying states of tune. Which would point to the MFP mechanic putting together the drivetrain, not so much the whole car. This makes in much easier to explain the BoB in Fury Road without going thru a lot of mental gymnastics that require someone finding an equipped body shop AND a functioning wrecker to haul the RW wreck off and rebuild it. There are more important things to worry about in that world than where to find that last can of MFP Satin Black.
Besides, I really don't think there is nearly as much road combat in the Wasteland as people seem to want to believe. The Interceptor did not have the look of a car that had seen much combat between MM and RW, just modified for survival. Or maybe Max just stays away from it as much as he can.
