I did forget to mention that my flatmate is an extra in these scenes, one of The Wretched.
(I can clarify that he didn't take the above picture because: a. It was his first day on set today and b. they're not allowed to have digital recorders on set (phone, camera, etc).

So, anyway, I got some info out of him over dinner.
-Standing and walking around on river stones barefoot all day HURTS.
-Hugh Keays-Byrne enjoys himself on set immensely and keeps everyone entertained. ("Cut!" Hugh: "That was FANTASTIC! Let's go again!!!")
-Even on a rather cold Sydney day, some extras were in nothing but loincloths.
-Cancerous goiters.
-Costume>Hair>Makeup>Mud>Dirt>Dust. Then to set.
-The mud was mostly to help cover his tattoos, they didn't bother with his hair because he already has dreadlocks.
-They were supposed to get wet but it was too cold.
-He'll be back all week, so more updates will happen.

*Note - Didn't release any plot details because I don't want him to get in troubles.
* Also, phone decided to be a uncooperative bitch and won't let me access my own pictures.
You'll have to see the muddy bastard another time.

Just a question: Is the principle cast there yet? (Hardy, Theron etc) Given HKB mentioned. Also How long is your friend supposed to be filming for?

Did any Aussies see the Channel 9 Sydney news last night ? They flew over the set in a chopper and shot footage of the black tanker and other vehicles as well as a ton of extras all lined up along both sides of a road , sat up all night trying to get footage on the late news but alas

channel 9 Sydney news huh? The video may be online somewhere.

It appears Immortan Joe's underground city will have a lot of CGI done to create it, I wonder if the tanker is part of that escape/chase?

the two guys are a bit of a pain to listen and watch and I am not sure about the validity of their information?
Also scroll down and read the post from "James Logan" who claims he worked for the Art Department... hope what he says is not true!

I have asked to add credibility to his claims, and bringing up the rumor of two sequels being shot back to back - I hope this it true.

That James Logan guy says: "It's gonna end up PG 13, because George wanted to make this film for his kids, after watching Transformers. ... He also threw out one of the best draft screenplays I've seen to make it more appropriate for kiddies. It was as R18 as it gets."
That would be the worst thing George Miller could do. Even worse than CGI. But I hope he hasn't and it's all a lie.
That is the thing that sky-rocketed MM 1 and 2.

Their info comes from Devin at BadAssDigest who ran an article saying he'd been in contact with someone who saw the cut of the film presented to the studio and raved about it. Since then there have been a couple of other sources that Bio has posted here backing up the claim and then Hardy himself said they were heading to Sydney to film additional footage and reshoot anything.

Looks the main cast is back and ready to go. Daily Mail ran a piece of Hardy being spotted in Bondi?
