Re: project photos
I'm saying I would rather scrap the project than build a second rate "budget" version.

Hey bronze 21.
When I say scrap the project I really mean postpone it. I still love the BoB but lateley have been looking closely at a few of the other mm1 and mm2 cars. I will probably get another coupe and put it on a rottissery for a few years and pick away at it.
I really do appreiciate all the advice that I have had from you and many others, but my brain hurts. I just know I'll never be satisfied with my own efforts in the flare manufacturing department I need to just walk away for a while
. Plus I still need to start and finnish My big boper by oct.
The fate of my coupe still remains in the Mad Max world but not as A MM1 BoB, for now..........
Thanks sincerly.

Bronze, you may want to try and find john deere blitz black epoxy. Its a tractor frame paint, very low gloss/suede finish, lasts like iron and can be painted over rust its so tough.
Never shot a car with it myself, but ive known guys whove done so and the finished result was quite decent. Its considered a staple in the kustom kulture scene, where flat suede finishes are the norm.

Suedes right about that JD blitz black, alotta traditional rodders swear by it.it gives your car a 'suede' no pun intended look and not the primer/sealer look that fades and gets chalky.
