Beware, to post here you have opened yourself up to the possiblity of being exposed to Mangrum's occasional tounge ( type ) phalanx. Well, March, thanx for the welcome and the warning. But no worries, Mate, I've been in mosh pits with guys bigger and badder than Bart before. Ain't scared!

And Bart, it's interesting that yet again, everything's copasetic until it conflicts with your opinion or hurts you feelings. I'm no FNG and it's not so comfortable when the shoe's on the other foot, is it dude?!

In respect to Mitch's earlier post, I personally won't continue on this banter. So you may have the last word if you like, big man!

i'm with you on that one bart...........cynical( "Not because I'm a chick, but because I could still kick your @$$!) needs to go to a "buffy the vampire slayer" forum

of all the members here....like with ankle and bart.....who disagree,i have never seen them say.. type of talk....

so cynical [if a girl or a guy]....is just a troll....i.e. a "button pusher"....get a life.

Hey guys, let's not be so quick to pick sides or judge people so quickly. I'm sure everyone here was a 'new member' at some point, and you have to learn how to play the room.

I remember coming here back in '02 and having my balls busted by Wrinkles and others because I was gonna make my John Goss Special into an Interceptor. Turned out it was partly tongue-in-cheek and we all got along fine, but what if I had lashed out and posted some flaming responses? Chances are I wouldn't be here today, for better or worse, according to your opinion of me.

Whose fault would that be? Partly mine, for not having enough patience to see the real story. But it's even more important for established members to cut some slack and welcome new members instead of jumping all over them for real or imagined violations of the status quo. I've seen a lot of knee-jerk responses to posts from new guys and established members, and I don't agree with it.

Who comes to post here? All types of Mad Max fans. If they aren't to your particular liking, too bad. We're gonna have Star Wars fans with a mild interest in Road Warrior, girlfriends/spouses, pre-teen males still socially inept, perhaps an occasional cast/crew member lurking about, the media baiting some of us into rash staements, and die hard fans with opinions different from what you may think. We have to accept all these people and allow them to post without someone jumping down their throats if they don't spout the party line.

There is no seniority plan in place either. If you're new, welcome. Hopefully you'll have something positive to contribute. If you've been around awhile, use your knowledge to help people, not to put yourself on a different level and look down at others.

Well, I hope this infighting stops soon as it's getting old.

I have since eased up on Ank and instead of peppering him with obsenities in my replys to his posts i try and do a more civil response.

Well, guys; to all I offended, I offer my sincere apologies. After an uber stressful day and a few too quickly downed "liquid refreshments", I did my normal and got mouthy. Unfortunately it also didn't occur to me that although I feel like I "know" many of you from reading here, few of you know me. I'm that rotten big sister (and yes, I am actually a chick, not just posing as one) who lives by the phrase, "It's only funny until someone gets hurt. Then it's hilarious!" My poor little brother (who's now 6'4") still cringes when I lift my hand to give him a hug.

The "kick your @$$" comment truly was meant in a joking manner, but that is unfortunately one of those things that's hard to get across in email text. Bart, if you would have been here, you would have been able to tell and would have laughed along with me. Sorry that it came across the way it did.

Oh, and Moko, I've never even seen "Buffy" so sorry, I don't get the joke.
