Everybody? i got this real bad c**t living up the street, arriving home at all hours of the morning in a van with two mates, pulling boxes that say DVD out of that van.

I don't think i want him handed one, though i suspect the pricks already got one.

Well let's start at he top. Rocky, thanks. I put in my Nirvana: Unplugged in New York album a few hours ago to keep my mind off the shards of insulation I was breathing in while insulating my kitchen remodel, and it sounded great! No, I don't have kids but my cousin is raising a two year-old girl. I totally get what you're saying. I haven't though of blowing someone away even once while building some misshapen glob from legos with her, but on that second point, guns and children can be mixed in highly controlled events. I know what that sounds like, but this whole gun-ban party started a few years ago, long before terrorism hit high, when a bunch of kids here in the states started finding their father's self-defence pistol and shooting their friends with it. That is what Rosie was so mad about. My father took me out in the woods early on and we shot my rifle and a couple of his pistols. I learned exactly what they do, how they worked, how to tell if they are loaded, how to load and unload them, and most importantly, how to not point it at someone. All these kids nowadays think the pistol they find in the closet is just a cool metal water gun, they don't know any better. Up to a certain age, all guns should be locked and safely tucked away, but there will come a time when you see your child reasoning and learning faster than anything else and then you should take him out to the woods and show him/her EXACTLY what to do and what not to do. Guns don't kill people, ignorance kills people. I guarantee you not a single one of those kids would have willingly shot his/her friend in the face if they had known what would happen. In these violent times, there could come a time when your child may have to defend his/herself from an intruder. I know how unlikely a situation like that will be, but I think it's better that they do know how to use a firearm just in case.

Right-o toecutter, some of the cities in the less-populated states are actually pretty nice, but there's no tellin' what kind of a freakshow lies behind the picket fence, believe-you-me. I'm not gonna get into that, but I'm not too fond of suburbia either. The only reason those cities are nice is because there isn't a suitable "food supply" for the rest of the world's baddies. The people who can afford to live in upper-class homes and communities can afford upper-class security systems. Those houses still get broken in, though, just by people who don't mind traveling a little for a television and dvd player. I don't live very far from those housing communities, but I also don't live far from a crack-town. The next city up is basically nice, but if you go a few blocks off the main road you find all the condemned crack house with broken windows and grafitti. I have had the unfortunate displeasure of being caught up there at night, and it was... enlightening. My friend lives in a house not too far from those crack houses and he has some stories to tell of late-night visitors, that's for sure. It's just not healthy living in a house with bars on the windows that you fear leaving at night, not healthy at all.

Back on topic. A "majority decision" is perfect and undeniably good in an ideal world, but I live in a country where everybody is told exactly what to do to make large companies happy, and that means that whatever makes large companies unhappy gets gone in a hurry. Those people don't get the whole story about anything unless it's completely to big-business' advantage. Somethinglike gun "control" or fingerprinting is going to be sold to the public as a fix-all using their tax dollars, but a few years down the road, the truth is going to really hurt. Most people here think that within ten years every gun in the country will have a record of its barrel and action markings, but they just don't understand the truth about the whole debacle. That doesn't matter anyway, because they'll vote however they're told to vote and that's what "Majority Decision" means here.

Oh, Interdicter, that would be lovely indeed. Tell ya' what, though. There's a city in north Florida called Gainsville where a large pawn shop owner had his hands on one of those things, and he used it one night when a bunch of homies decided to drive their car through the doors to get the goodies inside. Apparently he lived upstairs or was nearby when it happened and he wailed on them with that thing like Arnold would in a commando movie. Boy, the people around there won't forget that too soon.

Back to you, Rocky. Are you serious about these guys? If so, have you given an anonymous ring to the locol authorities? Seems like something they'd like to look into.

You though I was going to say to go down there and blow 'em away, weren't you?

Well if those dvd boxes were previously yours, that would be a plan.

OK, you've got to check this out......www.montysminiguns.com for a measly $5000.00, you too can own your very own BB firing minigun! thats right, 600-6000 BB's per minute! (depending on battery charge / BB weight ie: aluminum or steele.) they have video clips of this thing being fired. WOW! I couldn't wipe the smile off my face for half an hour.

It says a .22cal minigun is coming soon. AHHHH, the joys of being an American.

Did i really say PERAL JAM?

I got a mate in PERTH who's fired one of those BB MINIGUNS, him and his mate made sure they did it in a plane empty room, so they could find all the BB's when done (I still find them out at my mums house under her fridge and sh*t, from my S&W BB i had in grade 9). But it acted as a negative thing, those BB's just bounsed off the wall and sprayed them in the face.

Boy o boy, I got some squirrels here that would not be here if I had one of those miniguns. And a .22! Oooooh, hooooh! I couldn't even imagine. I've done my share of prop/replica making and I decided one day that I wanted a pair of full-size gatlin guns mounted on the hood of my car, so I started churning out resin templates with eight holes for eight pieces of 1/2" pvc pipe. The templates are what made the guns, so they were very important. Unfortunately, they were extremely difficult to make. I had to pour the resin circular plate, then mark and drill each hole with a 3/4" bit. By the time you spend half an hour drilling holes in a plate and then break it on the last hole, you get very put off with the whole project and that's how I stopped. I got to thinking the other dsay that I did actually have enough made to put together a single gun, but I haven't really gotten back into it. Right now I'm putting together a set of Wolverine claws for the X men 2 premier in May. I've got the actual claws made, but getting them to shoot from my sleeve is turning out to be as difficult as I'd imagined. I know what to do, but without a computer-driven drafting and casting machine to get the guide blocks just right, I'm gonna be cutting and epoxying for a week. Enough of that.

Pearl Jam is on tour now here in the states and the nearest show is already sold out. Wasn't really interested in seeing them anyway. Never got into Soundgarden, but I've gotten a few of their videos on tape and they 'aint bad. I've been getting my groove on to Chris Cornell's newest incarnation AudioSlave. They've been playing their second video for "Like a Stone" in heavy rotation and I certainly haven't complained yet. I hope they keep releasing singles as good as the first two. This remodelling has been long and tedious, but I've been keeping the cd player busy with my menial collection. I've been playing The Doors, KISS, The Cult, Zeppelin, Nirvana, The Romones, and a few others.

Keep your mind off the crap, and the world would smell like roses, I say.

I allways wanted a roof mounted minigun on my car. The website also has beautiful non firing replicas that look just like the real thing, but who wants non functional when they can move 6000 BB's a minute? Might get into trouble with anything that actually fires projectiles mounted on your car though. Wouldn't you just love to rotate the gun around on the A-hole talegating you and start that barrel spinning?

Personally, I never could get into grunge music. I can only take so much whining from overpaid rock stars. I much prefer late 60's & 70's rock. When it comes to modern music, there is very little that I would actually go out and buy. I think the most current music I own is Rage Against The Machine. Remember when artists were angry? I miss that. At least hardcore metal seems to be coming back. I want more Slayers, Testaments and Supulturas. Something to get my blood flowing. Nirvana makes me want to off myself with a shotgun, no wonder Cobain succumbed to the urge.

( I really wish this forum had a spellcheck feature, there are a few words I just can't seem to ever get right. succumbed isn't sp. right, is it? oh well.)

What kind of rifle is it, and what kind of safety does it have?

If it is a major brand you might be able to get parts for it.
