Glad to hear that, it seems like this film has taken an age to make/produce.
I saw a picture on Facebook of Lost Tribe member “Eddie” in costume for the Thunderdome movie. The person who posted the picture said it was taken in January or February 1985…the finished version of the movie was released in July 1985.
I can only assume post production techniques have changed dramatically over the years. Which results in the end product taking longer to get to the big screen.
The panel discussion for ‘Furiosa,’ a prequel to the acclaimed ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ is set to take place on November 30. The panel will feature stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth alongside director George Miller.
I had no idea there was another Mad Max in the works when the Fury Road trailer dropped. This time I've been following it so closely. They've been so tight lipped with this production.
Hopefully the trailer is as epic as the first Fury Road one.
I find it curious that there hasn't been any word on test screenings having taken place. There were at least a few for FR. Then again, I think the primary purpose of those was to determine how the "contractually obligated" PG-13 cut tested against Miller's preferred R cut, with the latter ultimately winning out. This time around the rating probably isn't an issue.

The movie is almost locked in, only minor tweaks and some all nighters ahead. They're really trying to hit that deadline. There has been a dramatic upgrade in the visuals compared to what we've seen in the trailer! Which is great news!
3 months to the release, so the marketing machine should be starting up soon.
As for the 2nd trailer. Even though it has been hinted, I wasn't able to confirm it. So I'll have to eat my words if it doesn't happen within the next couple of days. We'll have to wait.
But regardless - the movie is entering the final phase of production.
