I'm planning to make a book about the mad max trilogy, half analysis texts, and half comics about the movies, i hope it will be ready for the 4th episode, something like in 1 or 2 years.

Max is the party crasher 
I more think Max was the last resort to stop the maniac (Nightrider), not really to stop the destruction and mayhem caused by his colleagues during the chase.
I had to listen good to follow the German dubbing, but I got most of it.
The rest sounds pretty solid.
