If that's your definition of lost I'd love to know what is your definition of a win. The Republicans now have total control of the federal government. The House, Senate, Whitehouse, and President Trump gets to pick at least 1 new Supreme Court justice. Explain to me if that's a loss then how did the Democrats come out in this election? Also, explain to the thousands of people at Ford and Carrier who would have seen their jobs go to Mexico if Trump hadn't stepped in. Is that "active persecution"? I'm waiting to see what he can do after he's sworn into office. Otherwise can I borrow your time machine? You seem to have some sort of incite about the future of the country. Or more likely you are repeating the same horseshit coming out of the mouths of everyone else who is in denial about this election.

You should really read through the tax amendment proposals. Unless, of course, you're a multi-millionaire, in which case you can sit back and enjoy the show.

The democrats also lost, but really most people on both sides managed to vote against their own best interests. We'll see how the multi-billionaire (who is hiring many career politicians and big business lobyists) does. The last time Republicans held all of the power was, what, 1928? 1929 didn't work out very well for working class Americans.

Oh, you mean like how Rolling Stone magazine was recently found guilty for falsely reporting about a gang rape at the University of Virginia and are now being forced to pay $3 million in damages to the school administration? How about every single news organization falsely claiming the election was over and declared Hillary the winner barely out of the primaries?

Indeed, perhaps Obama should file a similar lawsuit against Trump for defamation of character. My understanding is that Rolling Stone was a civil, not federal case.

Yeah, Comedy Central and The Daily Show sure have gone down the toilet in the last few years and are basically unwatchable. They hit their peak in the first few years of the Bush administration, then sometime after Obama became president they hired terrible and lazy writers. Go back and you can see this dead look in Jon Stewart's eyes long before he quit. Realization hit him like a baseball bat to the face.

Trump is very clearly of Social Dominance Orientation .He has made no secret that he values power and wealth and hates equality , often referring to his own wealth as sign of his higher than average right to existence ..... why anyone would think that he is about to do great things for the "everyman "is a little beyond my understanding . I Understand that he is a good source of material for satire , and the voyeuristic side of me still can't look away , but anyone who thinks the next 4 years will be fun to watch kind of freak me out as well....Fun isn't the word I'd use for my experience , more like FUCKING SHITTING MYSELF . I have friends who are pro Trump on an anti establishment platform , and the more liberal minded of them seem to think all is O.K because he won't be able to achieve most his election pledges.....which in itself is another WTF moment . I hope they are right and prove me to be a paranoid alarmist ( I really do ! ) because according to studies in the field authoritarianism in positions of power seem to point to something much more scary than entertainment .

honestly, i dont have any i head right to. what i usually do is write whatever hairbrained conspiracy i'm told by a conservative and read every source that doesnt have an obvious slant, and share my results. not that it helps anything because they'll head right to infowars like it's the fucking gospel.
