That quote looks a little silly now after reading this post, seems that some people have come close to 'knowing'

Hi we tried 6 inches, yep it was to big! we went with 3 like told, we had to build it first then new once in there it was to big, but was no way in hell we were doing another one! i didnt mention names for a reason, but go right ahead!

I am glad I am not in a glass house! we still have the original nose here we copied, that website is old, dont know anything about having all the original moulds! Gordons original black car has Advanced spoilers nose, along with Steves BOB roof spoilers on all two doors and four doors are copies from Gordons two door, the flares there is no original moulds out there for them, everyone is having a good crack at those! the front spoiler on the four door is handcrafted then moulded, we now have an original Arcadipane nose, had to rebuild it as the owner went chuckin dohies while drunk! the boot spoiler is hand built, there is no mould out there for that either!

my yellow car was bought like that, except for back wheels, it stayed like that and was sold like that, it went when Steves went! and some nut case did it to a GT!

and you still have missed what I have tried to say! you have gone to great lengths to do exceptional work to fit wrong parts! the roof spoiler once its on its on, and it takes for ever to fit it properly, yes to me its disapointing to see so much good work go to fitting it! but what ever, i truly dont care! you cant handle an opinion, then you cant! and atleast were in Thunderdome with this and not stuck it out in the other bit like big slashes at Gordon!

we will mostlikely do one more replica before i throw in the towel, along with the batmobile cars are getting harder to get and people freak out about the cost!

what website is some of that info from up there? please send me a link, as I dont get on here nor read much of what is on what ever site you got that from? everything I have said is still taken out of contex and none of our stuff was copied from the Advance spoiler stuff, all tho I did consider cutting the advance spoiler one in 3 pieces, but a real one turned up!

""""I am glad I am not in a glass house! we still have the original nose here we copied, that website is old, dont know anything about having all the original moulds! """"

Well then one could say that it is FALSE advertising...... if you dont know what is on your own website.. dear oh dear.. you better read it again then !

"""my yellow car was bought like that, except for back wheels, it stayed like that and was sold like that, it went when Steves went! and some nut case did it to a GT!

So why have a crack at "incorrectors" then ???

"""in my eyes our cars and Scotts cars are considered to be INTERCEPTORS an not INCORECTORS like most cars out there and its disapointing to see so many incorectors, they have put alot of work into these vehicles and for what? something that looks wrong! but as long as the builder is happy with what they have created then thats all that counts."""

So they used the wrong parts... big deal !!

Again... YOUR missing your own point... The yellow Interceptor has the wrong spoiler fitted! So are you saying that because you built it.. its all ok??? IT LOOKS WRONG !!! because IT IS WRONG !

"""and atleast were in Thunderdome with this and not stuck it out in the other bit like big slashes at Gordon!"""

You will have to clarify this statement.....

'''''what website is some of that info from up there? please send me a link, as I dont get on here nor read much of what is on what ever site you got that from? everything I have said is still taken out of contex and none of our stuff was copied from the Advance spoiler stuff, all tho I did consider cutting the advance spoiler one in 3 pieces, but a real one turned up!'''''

The links are provided at the end of each quote..... like i siad.... i never say anything unless i can prove it!

Grant,

This was the innevitalble train crash that was bound to happen.

what website is some of that info from up there? please send me a link, as I dont get on here nor read much of what is on what ever site you got that from? Thats because you are out of touch with what is going on.

I suggest you stop posting on this subject as you are not making any ground here whatsoever and will not acheive anything by continuing to post.

Go back to making your tumbler and do whatever it is that you and Gordon do. I think they have Batman forums too, dont they? Holy time to move on Batman.

This whole thread has definitely steered my course down a different road with my XB build.

There's no way what-so-ever that I will EVER build a "movie-correct" replicar after reading this now. It's simply not worth it...

I'm not going to change the show sign to "Mad Max-inspired Incorrector." It will stay titled as an "MFP Interceptor," it just won't be Maxs'...thus avoiding all of the playground bullies slinging their sh!t at it like primates, with the whole "mines better than yours", or "that radius is 0.02mm off" mentality. I've told people before...If you don't like the way I've done it, you go out and build me what you think I aught to have. Otherwise, just walk away."

I enjoyed seeing all of the cars lined up at the 'Nats and took notice of all of the people walking by, admiring them. I heard several times the question "Are these the actual movie cars?" That in itself is proof enough that everyone who's taken the time and effort to build one, has done enough of a good job for "Joe Public" to recognize it. Let's face it. Murray built the one and only original Mad Max Pursuit Special. All others are "replicas" and will have differences from the start (like being an actual GT)...it's just that some are more "focused" than others in their details. In the grand scheme of things...WHO CARES!!! We've all done the best we can with the resources we have. Don't let this petty bickering rip the forum apart. "Drive on."

I had to build MY replica first but then realised it was wrong,so no way in hell I was doing another one!!!!!!! Sound familiar Grant? It would be a shame to waste all that time and effort fitting something if it isn't correct!!!!! does that sound familiar? So why leave the cage as it was........simple......because you couldn't be bothered re-doing it for the accuracy.......funny that......neither could I !

You didn't mention names for what reason???? because YOU can't tell the difference between 2 and 3 inch?! I've got an excuse, everything I do is inaccurate....isn't it?

You have brought all this on yourself through arrogant comments not realising that there are actually people out there that know the truth but who have wished to keep quiet out of respect, something you have proved you know little about, surely you are not that arrogant to think you could post those comments and not expect reprisal? You have shown you are not bothered in the slightest about your insultive comments,I can only imagine that Gordon is pulling his hair out reading all this..........but then again, who knows...

Hey Sockpuppet, that just reminded me of a time I pulled up at some traffic lights in the Incorrector over in England and a couple of young girls were looking straight at me singing the Batman theme tune.....geez.....that and someone asking me if it was the Knightrider car! just goes to show that if you don't get them quite right they can be mistaken for something totally different!LoL

Has that digging stopped yet?!
