Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.. That's right.

The SVO motor IS the same as the XR4Ti.

That actually is very interesting..I'm looking at a 4 cylinder Capri (Fox Chassis) that has the 4 cylinder, non turbo engine.

We have an XR4Ti motor in stock.

Interestine Swap idea.

Sorry, I miss-quoted...The original Cobras were touted at 320 horse but were consistantly dynoed at around 265 to 285 when they first came out with the "modular" setup like the current GT's. There was a big fiasco about it a few years ago because Ford wanted to best the Camaro SS/Z28 and was having trouble making the numbers stick...another marketing ploy that was caught. Yes, the new 2003 Cobra is 32-valve with the blower and putting out conservatively "390" horse. One of the guys here at work has one, and had it dynoed stock at 410 right after he bought it. After changing the chip, "hot/cold" ignition switch, exhaust and a couple of other little bits, he's running consistantly in the 485 range...higher with the high-octane fuel at Milan...and it's all under the hood. The new Lincoln LS/Jaguar/Thunderbird/Mustang DEW98 platform Mustang is supposed to be around the 300+ horse range in the GT version as well when it's in final production (I'm starting to see them all over Detroit running the blue/white manufacturers plates...a couple of the new $100,000+ GT's as well. The Cobra will remain around the 400 mark...for now. Four years ago, we had the original prototype Mustang Cobra "R" in our studio. It had the truck's 5.4L with the blower...385 hp...man, what a ride. I got to drive it...all the way from the Reliable truck into the studio that is...blubblubblub at about 10 mph in first. I got out feeling like a Jello jiggler with a case of permagrin and a little hard of hearing. Sorry for the confusion on my part...Cheers.
