About the embossed image:
There seems to be some kind of a theme going on and I have a half-assed theory about that.
If you look at the people behind the Immortan (or whoever that is) it's like you can see their evolution from right to left. We start off with skulls, so dead people, then there are warboy-like bald people, so I'm guessing not dead anymore, but now they're sick, and then they become soldiers ready to fight.
SO in short, the Immortan (?) is rising people from the dead, gives them life and purpose?? Is that's what going on here? I don't know, just a half-assed theory.

Excellent update as usual. Wow this film looks even crazier than I imagined.

I would agree with the ex MFP gone bad. Pulling from the comics again, Roop and Charlie were out that way and Joe ran into them.....mfp cars and all. Would be cool to see them passing by somehowSCREWLOOSE wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:56 pm Great content as always!
Interesting to see Organic possibly used to ride with Dementus and his marauder's.
Really love the embossed logo on the trailer of the rig…I wonder if its paying homage to those who fought and died in the water wars?
Also noticed one of the motor cycles had a windshield that looks like it might say Police on it, could this be an ex MFP bike?
If so it might tie in with the MFP style black leathers some of the actors are seen wearing in your video…Ex Bronzes who has gone rouge??

Not a bad theory at all…It feeds into the god like illusion Colonel Joe Moore created to became Immortan Joe!Taipan wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 1:06 pm Thanks man!

Weaponising the rear of the tanker is clever too as it limits boarding options for raiding parties. I can only imagine the damage it would do to attacking vehicles….however the weapon never made it as far as Fury Road’s War Rig.
I also noted one of the motorbikes had a mannequin head on it…maybe a slight nod to Mad Max’s mannequin on the beach scene with Jonny the Boy.
Do you think we will get any airborne vehicles in Furiosa? I know you mentioned previously there was a plan for the Vuvalini(?) to fly in Fury Road. It would be great to something like that in Furiosa.
Pray hes out there!!

Yeah, a small scene with Roop & Charlie passing an oncoming Interceptor would be brilliant.roadwarrior721 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 1:04 amI would agree with the ex MFP gone bad. Yep, there was a tribe called Roto Raiders that I think were originally flying Vuvalini (or a separate tribe altogether?). They were cut from the story at one point but I noticed in the production documents from I believe 2012 that they still existed on the vehicle list. So I'm not sure how far they wanted to take this idea, I'd have to ask someone from the workshop why that thing was still on the list that late in production.SCREWLOOSE wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 12:54 pmNot a bad theory at all…It feeds into the god like illusion Colonel Joe Moore created to became Immortan Joe!Taipan wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 1:06 pm Thanks man!

The mannequin! Yes! I noticed that too and immediately played MM to see if it's the same type of a mannequin, unfortunately it was different but I'd say it might be a slight nod to the mannequin used in MM, why not? After all George Miller said that the 'Gyrocaptain' skull on Nux's car wasn't a nod, but the set dressers were specifically told to make it as a nod to the Gyrocaptain, so I guess we might be dealing with a similar situation. GM says one thing publicly, another behind the scenes, typical

Yes they did. For exemple for the scene of Max joining Furiosa and the Vuvalinis on his bike, before they go back to the citadel. It's a stunt guy on the bike, they put Hardy's face on him in post prod. You can see that in one of the numerous behind the scene video they made for the movie

Yes you're right, they did it, and it was a very long shot anyway. And it was fantastically done. That seemed 100% Tom to me, so they did a brilliant job with the CGI and the editing.seriz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 12:36 amYes they did. Doof Wagon spotted. The Gastown set is massive. I can't wait to see this on the big screen. Hopefully we get lots of aerial shots like the Citadel.
