I wonder who added the trivia at IMDb that MM4 takes place shortly before The Road Warrior. And with what motivation.
Than the BoB must be in MM4 already like in MM2 or almost finished that way.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

As far as I can tell imdb functions similarly to wikipedia. Anybody can login and edit pages unless the site admin locks them down.

ooooh nooooooooo
Don't worry seriz somebody else said this...
The person who described this as like Terminator 2 compared to Road Warrior being Terminator 1 doesn't really get it right. There was a small jump in technology, look, and scale between those movies. There is a HUGE jump between the original trilogy and this movie. I used to watch Road Warrior and think it didn't look that dated. But after watching Fury Road, Road Warrior will look VERY dated (just in terms of appearance, camera technique, fx, costumes and makeup, etc.)

Again. George Miller specifically said FURY ROAD does NOT take place within the timeline of the previous films.
Well there you go. The debate should be over until the movie is out.
I honestly think Miller is trying to keep the true story as secretive as possible, until release, Im sure the teaser, trailer will be vague as well. I just find it hard to believe, a Hard Core Mad Max fan, fresh out of the theatre, would be confused.. anyone of us here, being huge MM fans, after seeing the movie, would know what we are talking about...I guess we all have to wait.. , glad to have new subject matter to discuss though, very exciting times..!

Well George didn't need to be vague or secretive when he's standing and talking to an audience who just saw his film. He elaborated that it was hard to fit FURY ROAD within the old timeline and not compromise the film and story they wanted to make and tell. He didn't want to rehash or retell an old story.
His compromise though was including friends, colleagues and actors from the previous films as a nod to the fans. Later on I'll be posting a big MM fans thoughts on the film who saw it.
One thing I can add to the whole timeline debate is this:
Trying to fit Fury Road in between any of the original movies is like trying to fit the new Batman between any of the old ones. Elements are the same, general ideas might be similar but it's a completely different animal. I think the confusion stems exactly from the fact we see familiar stuff and immediately want to put it in its place, but truth be told, it doesn't belog there.
I assumed Miller commented on the timeline
After all the comments posted on the internet from the screening, because Randy made no mention
Of Millers comment, but he did say some ideas need clearing up and it goes sideways, so who knows
im just going off what im reading here,
Either way, its great to know the BOB is back! Looking
Forward to more updates.
