Fellow board member seriz has been busy of late. He says he spent an evening with Joanna Samuel this past weekend, no doubt asking her loads of questions. She also showed him a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos, a few of which he posted to another board (hotlinked below). The pics are a bit cropped by this board software, so go to the link at the bottom to get the full versions.

Before Max Max Kennedy-Miller made Violence in the Cinema in which an actor playing me repeated a speech I'd made to psychiatrists deploring, yes, violence in the cinema. He was shot, slashed and disemboweled as he spoke until only bloody mouth was left, the mouth still talking. The attack couldn't have been more personal or powerful. Technically dazzling like all Bryon & George's future films. So Kennedy/Miller & PA were off to a bad start. When I slammed Mad Max for ultra violence-all the worse for its brilliance-what did they do? They proudly ran my attacks in their ads. Funny, but I'd forgotten.

I saw Violence in Cinema Part 1 last week and I'm a little bit confused. Adams claimed since many years that the speech was his speech, but the screenplay is signed Kennedy & Miller, and the text is very close to what Miller said in intws after the release of Mad Max 1 about the violence (Straw dogs, Clockwork orange...)
But the text also use the term of "Pornography of death", an expression Adams will use later in his Mad Max infamous review !
