That's interesting, can you link me to that interview? Especially because I heard from said individual he has 'proof' of all those claims.Stamper wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 10:51 pm I have seen an interview of him where he made some claims, and in the comments, a member of the Fury Road team (high rank) debunked him, revealing it all being exagerated.
Don't believe everything every insider says. Some are just out there to promote themselves.

Re: News on the Fury Road : "The Wasteland" & "Furiosa"
Just finished editing a new Furiosa update video.
Furiosa Update #2
I cover the news from the last 12 months and the latest news, we're taking a closer look at Furiosa's new *old* War Rig and also other vehicles. Also, filming locations, and interestingly enough we find out David Collins from The Umbilical Brothers is going to be in this film.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the update, great video as always!
As much as I’d love a new Max focused movie I am starting to look forward to Furiosa.
Do you think there is any chance we might see this movie before 2024?

Thanks, glad you liked it!
As for the release date:
That May release date seems arbitrary to to me to begin with if I'm being honest.
Seems more like something the studio put out to drum up some hype that this is indeed happening, to set a goal maybe etc.
But just yesterday I got a bit of news that some actors are contractually obliged to keep their appearance until September this year. I think that's because they plan on wrapping all filming then.
If that is the case then I don't see a reason why it would take 1,5 year of post production to release this film in May 2024. It might come sooner.
But we'll see, George Miller was 'blessed' with an extra year of post production time for Fury Road and it worked in its favor, maybe it's something they're trying to repeat for Furiosa? We'll see.

Great work on that video! I didn't notice the details on the War Rig, you've got a sharp eye for detail.
I was hoping we would get see close ups of Gastown so I'm delighted to read we will see the Bullet Farm too.
The clean looking War Rig is a great idea. Having them go from standard cars at the fall of society to spiky skull covered apocalypse vehicles would be too much of a jump so this is a nice middle ground.
