Fuck it all, who gives a shit? anyone who pays attention to this kinda shit is the same kinda nosey fuck who peaks out his wondow and calls the cops when he hears a domestic in his street.

I assume you mean someone who hears domestic violence? If that's the case, then EVERYONE should call the cops. Many many women have died because their neighbors thought it was "none of their business". I'm not talking about a verbal argument here, I'm talking about violence or even the verbal threat of violence. If you ever hear that, the right thing to do is call the police.
You never know when you may be saving a woman's live or protecting a child (it's more than likely that there are also children in the house that could be in danger.)

I haven't really been paying attention to this thread, but I did read a few of the first posts. I just have to say that I believe that the media has blown this way out of proportion. Granted Mel said some really nasty things, and it's disappointing to see someone we admire talk that way to someone. I don't excuse what he said, but he was for sure having a bad day and that conversation was a private one. I've seen pyshologists on the news that my Mom was watching, and they were discussing whether Mel was abusive and all that kind of stuff. He is not abusive. He is just a guy who was pissed off. Partners argue, and I agree that the arguement he had was a private one, and it is the media that has made it look worse that it is, and we really don't know the full context of the arguement and how it got started. I just hope that Mel can get through these issues and deliver some more long awaited films.
