Very nice to see that you are still keeping an eye on the Max scene.I live in Oregon USA and my friend,Phil, has the good copy of your PURSUIT car here in Oregon also.It is a BLAST to take the two Max cars around for a cruise (I have Steve Pilant's replica of the black). We are like the travelling Mad Max car show. There is also a guy near us that has a Goose bike and another that has done up the '59 Impala, but it is left hand drive. It would be an absolute pleasure to meet you,as it has been to talk to you.If there where anything that SHOULD have your autograph,it would be Phil's car(maybe he can send you the glovebox door for you to sign, just kidding).Cheers,Bill

Mr. Millichamp... you're our own CHAMP for good! Cheers, Steve. You'll be always part of the MAD MAX legend as one of the key figures... ROOP is mythos stuff, of you know what I mean... he was really a psycho Bronze, and by large the prototype/archtype of all the psychotic policemen out of there.

Well, Steve, just a bunch of questions that you could find interesting, after all:

1- How really was driving that PURSUIT in terms of emotions? Was it cool? Did you went substituted by many "stunt doubles" for the running scene against the Nightrider?

2- Do you like the Mad Max sequels? What's your fave one? ROAD WARRIOR or BEYOND THUNDERDOME?

3- What's type of genius is George Miller?

I trust in the fact you would like to answer me!

LONG LIVE TO ROOP!

Torinoscj: Is that Phil's Roop/Charle Replica for sale on autotrader? $16,500? damn! damn! damn! I never can afford all these awesome cars that come up. If it is, is she still for sale? The (eventual) new owner will have to let us know who he/she is.

Yes it is,I was down at the race track, beating on the Max car,and tried to get Phil to bring it down(since he only lives one mile away where as I live 45 miles away),but his little one was sick,so he stayed home.GOD they LOVE it when I run down the track, sitting on the wrong side, banging gears with my left hand, with the blue light, blower and siren all going.Bill

Yes I'll be there. I had hoped to drive my Fairmont out there to show off, but I'll have to settle for pictures as I'll be flying in. Any chance on me getting a ride maybe? :)
