I used to get mad at all the anti-american rhetoric out there in the world (especially from our "allies"), but since I've grown up, I kinda understand it.

Especially lately.

And yeah, Mel may talk funny, but he's officially an American. Sorry

Naw, I know, and I didn't think I sounded too off-humor. Or mean to. Guess thats the bad thing about text-messaging: can't tell tone of voice.

Anyway, like I said, I understand that when other countries poke fun at America, its all in good humo(u)r. But it took me growing up to realize that. Thats all

Would Americans like a movie about one of their greatest war heroes populated by Australian-speaking actors?

Mad Max is just like Ned Kelly, he's an Australian icon.

I hope Miller will be able to keep it Australian. You have to take this fact into consideration, and I hope Miller doesn't see the following trend and uses it:

The moviegoers here in the States nowadays have this tendency to not dig a movie if there is no rap soundtrack, a hot starlet with big jugs, and a token black actor. American film is no longer what it was. The last good film produced here lately was...I don't even remember!

But Yes, I definitely agree that Miller sticks to his roots and gives us a purely Australian feature!!! BTW, I would love to visit your country one day. It looks beautiful.
