Them pictures sorta highlight just why this needed to be seen on the big screen. The blu ray that's comin will be good no doubt but it just wont compare to it on a huge screen. Sitting watchin it yesterday again and my brain was already thinking how small everything is gonna look.. :(

Hehe, yeah i guess ya right there and those with that sorta set up will be able to appreciate it that lil better but even so it'll need to be a bloody big room/wall to be able to compare to a large screen cinema viewing. After a couple of screenings on smaller cinema screens this movie was something again seeing it back on the big screen once more. 8-)

Oh absolutely, for that I'd have to hit up a friend who works in a university where they have a lecture hall thats cinema-sized with appropriate equipment fitted!

Yeah it been pretty F ing good the last ten weeks no question about. I've been to the movies this year more than i've been the last 20 years and it been to see just the one show. Really for the last 13 months though since that Comic Con trailer dropped we've been on some really fun rides. Things wont be as grand for most of us on the home media front but it'll still be damn good just the same. Turbofurball is lucky as most of us wont know someone who has access to a university hall with a big screen set up but i know if i did i'd be doing just that and hittin em up for another spectacular screening. You already know they need to see it. :D

Totally!!!
The last movie i went to multiple showings ALMOST this many times was Land of the Dead and Devils Rejects - i did them 4 times back in 2005.
But Fury Road is a personal record.
Damn thing's final showing was at 8.50 wednesday night down here in Hobart.

Sounds dramatic, but kinda got me down, ya know?
That weekend of the 14th was so awesome, i saw that movie 4 times in 2 days and it was like as long as the movie was still showing down here and i had the option of seeing it, that weekend would never end.

Fully understand the getting down part. Sitting watching it Wed i had similar feelings just with knowing that viewing was the last it was gonna be on a big screen here. It does still run till Wed but it went back to a small screen again for the later show and from Thursday on There was a big difference in the viewing experience between the two screens. Feel lucky though actually as they only put it back on a large screen here for three shows and it really was just awesome viewing things again that way. This film just looks so bloody good on those huge screens! I got nowhere near you in regards to viewings of this but of the five viewings i had but in an arse way about to yours, my first two viewings were four days apart.

I ain't never been to the movies and seen the one film so many times but it really has been fun while we've had it. I'm glad i got to see it more than once that way. :D

Just coming from viewing No. 31

My plan was to see it 30 times (one viewing for each f---kin year I wasn't able to see Mad Max in theaters)
but I realized somehow I cannot stop...

At least I am gonna see it 2 more times in August on special open air showings.

And after that..? Mmh, lets see - where is this university Turbofurball spoke of ???
Maybe I'm gonna visit one or two lectures there
