Mel should do it!! we all get older, I want to see what Max is up to now hes older...

If Willis can do it in Die Hard 4, Stallone in Rocky 6 and Harrioson Ford can do it in Indy then Mel can in MM4 period!
Its about time he made a bloody decent film, he hasnt made a good film since Lethal Weapon 2!!

While I don't disagree on the point that he's physically capable as far as we know (Though it's possible he could have ailments that we're unaware of)
But it's a bit of a Moot point since he's made it clear he doesn't wish to be involved and Miller's made it clear that he won't.

Can't agree with ya, there.. he's made lots of good films since then.
Some I've even LIKED. (To me it doesn't have to be good to entertain and doesn't have to entertain to be good)

Signs (2002)
Chicken Run (2000) (I'm a parent & an uncle and quite like Kids movies) :P
Payback (1999/I)
Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) Welllllllllllllllllll.. I'd call it the worst of the series, myself.. but it was OK.
Braveheart (1995) Good movie - Bad Ending.
Maverick (1994)
The Man Without a Face (1993) Kinda Dull, but still interesting (If that makes sense)
Lethal Weapon 3 (1992) One of my best friends still swears that I wrote this one/
Air America (1990) I liked the crashing scenes, anyway.
Bird on a Wire (1990) My favorite Non-Max, Non Riggs Gibson movie.

yes, if Harrioson Ford can do an Indiana Jones movie in his 60s in sure Gibson can do one.

I actually liked We Were Soldiers, btw

The answer to that question is simple : nobody. Mel Gibson does not care about the audience. If he feels too old, he can let action scenes to a new hero and plays the role of an old Max. It would not be the best solution, but it would be better than a new adventure of Max without... Max. He must be in the fourth "Mad Max".

What about Christian Bale? He would definitely bring some intensity to the role. Great actor. Of course Mel Gibson would be my first choice.

Christian Bale would be probably perfect for his role. It would be surely the best choice for a fourth "Mad Max". But the problem is simple : Max Rockatansky, it is Mel Gibson and nobody else. It would be a good idea that a new hero appears. In a way, Gibson would have the same role than John Wayne in "The cowboys".

My first pick would be Mel of course but, yea Christian Bale would be a great max. I think alot better than the rumored actors. That actor from the fast & the furious?! Come on man.....
