Yup, that's about as low as I could find that gun listed new. But I was lucky enough to get on on eBay for around $10.
I would like it if the barrel were perfect, but then again, I'm going to stay screen accurate by never drawing the gun (and only occasionally letting infants play with it).
I also will need to paint the little logo circle on the grip silver, and on at least one side of Max's gun, there appears to be a silver diamond shape in the middle of the grip (based on the HD screenshots). Easy enough to add.
I do with the grips looked a bit more like real wood though, since the grip is the only part of the gun you'll ever really see while it's in the shoulder holster. Maybe I'll paint them or something at some point, but at the moment I've got bigger costuming fish to fry.
I do like the idea of the inert bullets though. You can catch a glimpse of them in the cylinder, even when the gun is holstered, and that glint of real metal adds a touch of realism.
