HUMVEE Driver: did you actually cut off the arm of a jacket to make a holster for a shotgun? Do you have a MM shotgun?

the mm shotgun holsters are butchers knife scabbards. if youve worked with butchers or in abbatoirs youd recognise them straight away.

For Feral Kid:
Well actually I just cut off the arm of a jacket so it would look like Max's. But then I was looking for materials to make a holster and the sleave was perfect for it. Yes I do have a MM shotgun. I don't remember the brand name off hand, but it looks just like a real one and breaks open so you can load shells.
For toecutter:
Not that I'm doubting you, but a shotgun is much wider than a butcher knife. How does it fit? Maybe that is why Max has such a hard time holstering the shotgun in Mad Max 2. If you watch the movie, there are two scenes where he has a hard time getting the gun back in. First when he takes the camo net off the Interceptor to head for the refinery, and second in the "How do you know that one's not a dud?" scene.

BBB and Biker: Sorry it is so far down this post but the story you spoke of with the MM1 and MM2 interceptors being two different cars is mine.... It's titled the underside (I actually posted it here in a thread called "Side Story (tie in)". When I wrote it a used information from the novels other fan fiction (Humvee's stories do kick @$$), and the chronicles... It was just my own take on things. While it does cover some of the time between the MM and RW it was intended as another story line and it just worked well to have some cameos so to speak and to fill in some holes as I tied the histories together......
Glad to hear you are writing something Biker.... anything to feed my addiction for MM... I'm sure from your posts that it will be great.............

Ah well maybe Max needed a good laugh so he went to see Star Wars.
Last of the V8 Intercepts, a piece of history, would have been a shame to blow it up
