Say,has anyone gone to my Yahoo club site and dowloaded/listened to the techno/Mad Max song that I put togather?
It is in the 'files section as two parts(it was too big as one),you just use winamp or your media player to play part one then part two and there is no break in the music.I would really like to know if anyone likes it or not.
I took a song called Interceptor,by Hypertrax and used my Acid music program to add sound bites from Mad Max and Road Warrior to it.I love heavy metal, house, rave, techno and 80's stuff(pretty much anything but new C/W.
It would be nice to hear what you all think.Bill

@Bubba Fat: Thanks, I know I have the lyric not in my head, but the text is in the discography of my "METAL BLAST FROM THE PAST" DVD. There're ALL LYRICS incl. SON OF A BITCH. And PRINCESS OF THE DAWN is one of the best songs by Accept.

Bill, I liked the techno Mad Max mix. Bring a CD to Dearborn! We can karaoke the alternate lyrics to the Macarena called MyTorino ("Gottafastcargotta429, 10.5 inthe quartermiletime, Hey, My Torino!").
You guys into Kazaa and whatnot, look for a band called Hayseed Dixie. They do a tribute album to AC/DC. The twist is, they're done hillbilly style. Very odd, but kinda cool. Also look for Brian Setzer's "Who Would Love This Car But Me?" off the Ignition CD, and "Fu**ed Up Ford" by The Reverend Horton Heat.

AC/DC is definitively THE Mad Max band. Remember Nightriders words:
I'm a rocker
I'm a roller
I'm a right out of controller
I'm a rocker
I'm a roller
I'm a right out of controller
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

I'd like to see the climax/revenge scene in MM4 show a vengeful Max preparing to drive a new Black on Black as "Hell's Bell's" starts slowly and builds in a crescendo.
The quintensential riff in all of Rock music is played in Hell's Bell's.

Good idea, but Miller does not want to include heavy metal in Mad Max. He claims that this kind of music crushes the pictures.
But you can turn off the sound of your TV, watch the Mad Max DVD and listen to heavy metal. I already tested it, it is brilliant! A large video clip with the good rate!

In the 80', there was a german Heavy Metal band called Mad Max. These guys claimed to bear this name before the film. I heard their soup. Not really a burnout. The Interceptor has burned a connecting rod!

I listen to bagpipe stuff (not all of it -- I don't like solo's), The Cult, Pink Floyd, and alot of other bands already listed. AC/Dc is great -- they don't give political speeches or lecture us to save the whales or any of that.

MITCH , TOWNSHEND - PUNK is still very much alive, i don't listen to it that much anymore, but i'm currently selling a book on EBAY about the NEWYORK HARDCORE PUNK MOVEMENT. and the first night i put it on the BAY it already got 3 bids, and noone ever bids on anything the first day, i like most people wait for those last few hours on anything i bid on and then fire away.
So today it was at 8 bids, and it still has 7 DAYS to go yet, and i get an EMAIL from someone, asking if they can just take it off my hands straight away for $70 US (thats like $140 australian) i'm still considering it, but i'm sure the damn thing will get far more bids, yet.
I'm just amazed at how much people still dig PUNK.
