What do you guys think are those 'Water wars" ? Fuel shortage is something we're familiar with and judging by the opening radio broadcasts it seems like there were some major environmental shenanigans going on coupled with the lack of fuel.
At least we've had it pretty clear in the original trilogy, but it looks like maybe they're throwing in an environmental angle to the apocalypse?

I guess that's the new thing to throw in - enviromental changes. I assume somesort of nuclear war still has something to do with it? You can hear a geiger counter in the beginning, I think.

Yeah or just another resource to feud over as the world went to hell. I'd gather the two headed lizard along with the "mutants" strongly hints to a more post-nuclear apocalypse rather than freaks of an environmental disaster?

Miller said he was fascinated with how the world changes, for better or worse.

Absolutely! I can bet 100% it's post nuclear this time. Especially seeing how sick the population of the Citadel is with their cult of flesh. It's been said that Furiosa shouts "We're not beasts!" at one point, so I'm assuming she didn't exactly agree with the practices that went on in the Citadel.

And then stole the Five Wives? Joe doesn't seem happy and they're portrayed as being somewhat "ethereal" with the way they're garbed and I think one or two of them are pregnant too. I wonder just why they're so important because I've heard the Citadel has "Milk Mothers" whose sole purpose is provide and supply breast milk.

I guess the five wives were supposed to be used for breeding since they're "clean" (aka completely healthy), therefore extremely valuable. Maybe the Milk Mothers weren't all that healthy to begin with and the whole population of the Citadel would be inherently sick either way?

So many things happening at once. I had to rewatch it a couple of times to process everything. Looks promising, the visuals are amazing.

Hey Guys. I haven't posted here in a while. I just want to thank Biolumen and the rest for the never ending updates. It's the highlight of my day to check the forum.

Personally for me I love every single bit of what I see. I have those goosebumps again just like I did when I first saw MM2 when I was 12. It's so cool to get to relive that rush all over as an adult. I have been freezing each frame of the trailer checking out all the details and craziness. All the low camera angles and bikes going underneath the tanker with packs of cars chasing and the crazy weapons... Feels like MM2 to me. And I'm fascinated with the Pole Cats, Did any of those guys get seriously injured???

It all looks so visually stunning!!!

Anyways this is an exciting time for me and Kudo's to George Miller for seeing this thing through with all the setbacks etc... In my opinion this appears to be a modern day art piece.

Oh and when they are chasing the BOB with the colorful explosions it appears to be the Tanker in the distance tearing ass through the wasteland?

It's almost surreal; at last the film seems real

I've spread the word on the Amazon UK forums re trailer :D

Didn't spot the guys with the leather masks in the trailer??

The radio voices at the start, they are from the past aren't they?? I can't imagine anyone transmitting in that future :?:

And I agree, it HAS to be post nuclear this time whatever is explicitly said or not said

Wow!!!.. Like everyone else have had to watch it a few times (cant watch it any more have to go to work!).

Incredible attention to detail in everything!

The opening scene looks almost like its 100% CGI.... The absolute high res is just something to be admired, this would be scarey in 3D!
You would be totally immersed into it.

Ripsaw doesnt appear in the chase with the other vehicles?

The tanker is carrying water?

The car carrier semi-trailer is in the movie

And the Interceptors rear tyre is full of newspapers!!!!! Shredded completely (this we saw when the car was on display a couple yrs back).

Tooooo much to digest at 6am
We are 100% snafu....
