Oh, no problem at all. It was not a great spoil... we are lucky to have biolumen and others around to provide us with various infos. I'm just afraid to be hit by major spoilers during the Fury Road shoot. So... I did it once for Indy 4 and it worked well.

:P
I would think the title of this thread would be a good indicator that there may be "SPOILER" information. With this many pages you may have figured that out by now....

Found this pic as I was browsing. Well that's definitely the Ballistic and the web page says the pic was taken in Broken Hill with no mention of who the bloke standing next to the vehicle is. And whatever is under that tarp back there looks interesting too!

Has this been posted yet? http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2011/03/fo ... e-mad.html

I'd hate to see one of theses cars make it to the screen unless seriously modified to stay with the post-apocalyptic aesthetic of the previous movies.

Seen those, yeah.

Some interesting designs, but most definitely not fitting with the other three movies
(A couple of them deserve to be real cars.. a couple.. well, put politely... don't)

Keep in mind thought, Miller would have done flying futurey cars if he'd had the budget...

Anyway, as far as I know, they're just a Top Gear thing.

Has anyone else noticed the tautology of "possible" "actual"

I had to look up the word 'tautology'.

That looks like it might be something from the new Transformers movie.

Regarding the coverage of the Mad Max concept cars....what I find irritating is that everywhere you look on the web, people are talking as if one of these cars will feature prominently in the film as the new Interceptor, and that belief is causing a bit of a backlash against the movie as nobody thinks, rightfully so, that these designs belong anywhere near the Mad Max universe.

There's no way those concept cars are going to be in the new Mad Max film. The "journalist" who started that rumor is an idiot, and anybody who believes or repeats it is also an idiot.

These machines are indeed to complex to be 'build in a post apocalyptic world'.
But I definitely want to see the movie in witch they are used. Holy shit those are awesome machines 8-)

"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
