I think someone is having a joke on us. As in, there is no video. Hence the emoticon.

Tony from The Edge Products, a dune buggie builder based in Western Australia, claims that Ballistic, the high tech buggie he built back in 2002, is now a part of the Fury Road stable of vehicles. More pictures and history at the link.

Lord - I hope not.

What's happened to FR ?
It looks like its turning into some bad Baja offroad event meets Burning Man.

Rubber & tarmac is the only cure.

Yes it was used in the filming of the Mad Max 4 movie untill film production stopped.
They must have run out of money.
The Ballistic was re covered with a narrowed steel Holden body.
Looked a bit silly after they done that.
Just like all the other cars which were shown under the tarp on the semi-trailer... the chassis's have been built for safety and obviously stunt work.
They will then have body panels covering them up so they look "old".
Much the same as NASCAR... or V8 supercars....
We are 100% snafu....

As eager as I am for info on Fury Road, I almost feel like I don't want to know too much in advance regarding the underpinnings and real workings of these vehicles. If it's supposed to look old and weathered onscreen, I don't necessarily want to know that that's just a facade, if that makes any sense.

Yes i would prefer to wait till AFTER the movie to see the doco... "how MM4 was made".
Kinda ruins the movie before you see it...

This is why I'll momentarily leave this board when production on MM4 will start... to avoid spoilers.

Oh, that's no problem: We can just ask everybody to make sure they put the words, "POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT" in any new thread they start that might contain spoilers.
