Congrats Matt.
Keep us in the loop with your build.
With any new venture, customer testimonials are a huge help.
I dare say that there are several of us contemplating a purchase, and hearing the real truth from you could go a long way towards helping us make up our minds.
Let me be clear here, I do not for a minute think that the folks who have started this are trying to be anything but a reputable company.
No one is slinging any mud at anybody here.
I'm just saying that hearing from a person who is involved with the company tends to sound like marketing hype, whether it is or not.
Hearing from someone who ponied up the cash for the product and is either pleased with their purchase or not is the more important endorsement in my book.
Best of luck to all!
Sicky side down...

I just saw the eBay listing for the kit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 942wt_1144
Just curious how you can justify a $250 shipping charge.

BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IS COSTS TO SHIP/INSURE THE BODY KIT ACROSS COUNTRY. NOT A DOLLAR MADE OFF OF HANDLING OR SHIPPING.
DOES THAT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION???

Yikes, Mr Sensitive!
Shipping can be expensive though, and packaging fibrglass parts can involve a fair ammount of materials. This I know.

Sure I will keep you posted with the build and pictures as I have them. Yes the shipping wasn't cheap but it was packaged professionally, made it here a day earlier then scheduled and was insured for the value. They have quickly responded to me and sent many pictures with any questions regarding install. Overall I am happy with the kit and glad to finally own one.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FOR CUSTOMERS
If you were actually an interested customer who would deserve customer service that would be one thing. But you came on to forum by way of ebay auction to confront me in public on how i "JUSTIFY" my shipping charge. When that is what is costs to ship with no mark up. Why not email me to toecutterz if interested?? Why not email me to ebay account if truly interested??? WHY GO TO A PUBLIC FORUM TO ASK A SIMPLE QUESTION?? Not what a typical customer would do and most likely not a potential customer at all.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FOR CUSTOMERS
I see. So until you have my money, I'm just some asshole. I'm torn between my pathological desire to avoid making enemies and my desire to request that you kindly kiss my ass.
You make a valid point about my choice of venue. The only reason I asked is that the product is a grand and the shipping is 25% of that. Yes, it sounded excessive—but what would I know? If I wasn't thinking about a purchase, why would I care what it costs? But for you to make incorrect assumptions about me pretty much guarantees that I won't want to give you my money, no matter how badly I want to build a Toecutter bike.
If you can afford to blow off potential customers, you obviously don't need the money.
